We design public safety buildings for comfort and pride. Everyone's.

Public safety buildings hold a special importance in our communities. They house the bravest among us. Too often, our heroes efforts go largely unnoticed – hidden away in nondescript buildings that do nothing to foster civic pride or a sense of community. These are sensitive spaces, and highly technical projects to design. But they are also opportunities to build trust and pride. We go to great lengths with our public safety projects to maximize the potential of the building to support the needs of the men and women who serve, and to establish a positive, esteemed community presence.

The fire hall provides an iconic gateway into Steveston, which has a rich history of firefighting. I am very proud to have this new building in our city with its modern, clean, sustainable design.
