Every student’s future is unknown. That’s why we design for resilience.

We believe design choices that enhance the internal community of a school – student to student, faculty to student, and faculty to faculty – improve learning outcomes, empathy, engagement and ultimately, resilience. We believe that because we see it happening in our schools. With the right design, it’s possible for schools to exceed programmatic needs, model the educators’ philosophy and lay the foundation for an active, engaged learning community and citizenry.

As you walk through this building, you’ll see all kinds of spaces that are actually created to enable students and staff to work together in all kinds of configurations, which I think is a wonderful thing as we look to the future of education.
