What drew you to architecture?
There are several things really. I love that it acts as a backdrop to our personal and our collective story; it is present in our private and our most public moments. It can be rooted in history, can have a geneology, and yet can be forward-thinking and aspirational. As a craft it is challenging, but in a very satisfying way; it’s a puzzle comprised of needs, aspirations, personalities, materials, and always a component of something unknown at the outset. I am drawn to see it, experience it, and share it.
