“As the complexity of issues facing us feels overwhelming, it’s time to break the silos and blur the borders. It’s time for openness and inclusivity. This broader horizon drives how we should work and engage with those around us.”

One of Stuart’s most striking skills is his approachable and receptive nature, which puts clients and user groups at ease even in the most complex circumstances. A tremendous listener and respected facilitator, he can quickly summarize and present a vision that encourages dialogue and ignites potential.

Practicing for more than 30 years, Stuart has gained a diverse range of experience in the community recreation, institutional, healthcare, and commercial sectors. He has been a Chair of the West Vancouver Advisory Design Panel, North Vancouver Public Art Advisory Committee, and was the Past President of the Architectural Institute of BC.

His leadership skills have contributed to large-scale design-build, P3 projects and master plans, complex institutional projects, and numerous renovations within operational facilities. In addition to his vast design experience, Stuart offers significant expertise in the management of large consultant teams and facilitating high value outcomes for his clients.
