Last summer more than 4,500 residents and 60 groups told the Vancouver Park Board about their priorities for Vancouver's pools and beaches. Your involvement and input helped shape the vision for VanSplash and we're now in the final phase of our consultation. Let us know if we got it right for you and the Vancouver community by reviewing our draft recommendations online. These recommendations include indoor and outdoor pools, beaches, spray parks and wading pools, and non-traditional aquatics.

hcma has been working closely with the Vancouver Parks Board for over a year to develop a forward-thinking 10 year aquatics strategy. So far, this process has included a review of the condition and effectiveness of existing aquatic services facilities and delivery modes, research into the future growth and anticipated demographic and aquatic trends over the next 25 years, and a public engagement process to gather feedback from our community.
