For Eric, architecture is an opportunity to help people imagine better futures together and transform their visions into a reality. He is passionate about creating spaces that are sustainable and just through rigorous research, close collaboration and cross-disciplinary creativity.
As an Associate, Eric has led design teams on institutional and educational projects from schematics through to completion, including the Museum of Surrey addition. With over ten years’ experience, he is recognized in the industry for his keen eye to detail and his composure, which puts clients and colleagues at ease in complex situations.
Eric received his Master of Architecture degree at Columbia University where he graduated with the school’s top honours, including the American Institute of Architects Award, William Kinne Memorial Traveling Prize, and the school’s nomination for the SOM Foundation Traveling Fellowship.
Outside of hcma, Eric has taught at Columbia University and maintains his academic interests by serving as a guest critic for design studios.
