Our Interior Design team is growing – and we are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and adaptable designer to help shape our small but ambitious team. Is that you? 

We’re looking for an Interior designer (junior to intermediate) to:

  • Bring creative flair, technical ability, and strong communication skills to every project
  • Collaborate with architects, graphic designers, and other specialists on designs from conception to completion without the traditional silos
  • Confidently coordinate with multiple teams and deadlines independently and alongside other Interior Designers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers/ vendors
  • Coordinate with materials library vendor to maintain our office’s resource library
  • Passionate about materials, product research and applications with a focus on environmental and social impact
  • Develop visually compelling 2D and 3D design concepts and renderings
  • Prepare and assist with developing informative and visually engaging presentations
  • Prepare documentation for finish specifications and FF&E selection including detailed layout drawings and schedules
  • Produce Design Development & Contract Documents (plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules) in ideally REVIT and AutoCAD
  • Other duties as assigned

​​Ideally, you bring:

  • Experience working collaboratively with architects and external consultants across multiple sectors
  • Excellent presentation, graphic design, conceptual and digital visualization skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office products, Enscape and SketchUp or equivalent. Technically savvy, able to learn and master new programs and apps
  • Comprehensive space planning and spatial analysis skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of colour, materials and products
  • Demonstrated ability to be organized, proactive, and adaptable
  • Creative vision with the confidence and tenacity to bring a fresh perspective to our team
  • A degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program
  • 1-5+ years design and technical experience, in the commercial and public sectors
  • NCIDQ certification or in the process of completion
