In our community centres, people feel more than welcomed. They feel they belong.
Our community centres hum with activity because we go beyond meeting program requirements. We get to know, and embrace, the diverse realities of the community — ages, cultures, abilities, and socio-economic backgrounds. And we design to build connection points. The centres we deliver aren’t simply buildings accommodating services people use. They are busy public spaces people love.
With approximately 85,000 visitors per month, the community has embraced [Oshawa’s Legends Centre] and all the amenities are well-used. It’s rewarding to experience the fulfillment of the vision we had for this facility.
