Robson Square Ice Rink Expansion and Plaza Revitalization

Robson Square, designed in the 1970s by Arthur Erickson, is an icon of Canadian Architecture. This rehabilitation of the existing ice rink included membrane re-mediation, replacement of the existing concrete paving system, design and installation of a new expanded ice-rink surface, new lighting and two large glazed stainless-steel domes, which provide shelter for the rink.

This project was completed by HCMA in association with Clive Grout Architect who provided schematic design services.
