River District Experience Centre
Located along the BC Fraser River between Marine Drive, Kent Avenue and Boundary Way, the River District Experience Centre is Parklane Homes first development site and “introduction” to the existing residential neighbourhood to the West. The Experience Centre will provide the visitors with an overview of key principles for East Fraserlands—Sustainability, A Complete Community, Comprehensive Public Realm, Architectural Diversity and Sense of Place.
The Centre is 6,400 ft2 and is comprised of a 50 seat restaurant, community/display space, meeting room and administrative functions. The community space will be bookable for community events and will showcase Parklane’s vision for the neighbourhood as a vibrant mixed-use and complete community that enables residents to live in diverse housing types and easily access transit, neighbourhood shopping, parks and open spaces, and community amenities.
